Big 6-Horse Ploughs, 5-Horse Scoops Busy at Duke University, Aug. 10, 1925

Durham—Blasting has begun by workmen here on the Duke university campus under the direction of J.O. Shumate of the Fuller Construction company, in the work of moving some large trees, preparatory to beginning the $4 million building program. Workmen and teams have begun the work of grading and leveling parts of the campus, with big six-horse ploughs and five-horse scoops being employed.
