Raleigh, Sept. 14-A parade in full regalia, with visors down, on Fayetteville street on the evening of September 25 is expected to be one of the features of the two-day Ku Klux Klan Klorero, Realm of North Carolina, here September 24 and 25.
The Klorero will be opened on the evening of the 24th by Judge Henry A. Grady, Grand Dragon of the Ku Klux Klan in North Carolina, according to the printed program.
Other notables of the order who are expected to be present include the Imperial Wizard, Dr. Hiram Wesley Evens of Atlanta, who will deliver an address, the grand dragons of Missouri, Alabama, and South Carolina, and Dr. W.A. Hamlett, editor of the Kourier Magazine, a Klan organ.
The place of the klan meetings is not mentioned in the program. The program does, however, say that “the realm meeting of the Women of Ku Klux Klan will be held in the Klavern of Raleigh Klan, No. 1, during Friday, September 25.”
The women are invited, according to the printed program, to be present at the night meeting of the Klorero on September 25.
A large attendance is expected, Raleigh officials state.
