New McDaniels Township School to Open Sept. 28, 1925

McDaniels Township School Opens Monday

It is believed at Supt. J.L. Hathcock’s office and by the township officials that the new $10,000 school building at McDaniels crossroads will be completed this week and the fall term will open next Monday morning. All arrangements are being perfected for opening on that date.

It is a township school and takes the place of the schools at Parkersburg, Mints and Oakdale. R.A. McLamb, who taught last year at Glencoe, is principal. The grade teachers are Miss Virginia Talbot, Miss Nettie Beth Pridgen and Elmo West. The school building is a one-story frame, adequately lighted and of pleasing architecture.
