Mrs. Mary (Baxley) White Buried, Oct. 5, 1925

Funeral of Mrs. Mary White

St. Paul, Oct. 3—Funeral services were conducted at 5 o’clock Thursday afternoon by Rev. Lonnie Sasser for Mrs. Mary (Baxley) White, who died about 4 o’clock that morning at the home of her son, Sed, where for some time she had resided. An illness of 3 or 4 weeks duration from the infirmities of old age was supposedly the cause of her death, she being over 80 years old.

Interment took place in the family plot in the cemetery at Great Marsh Baptist Church. A number of her relatives and friends were in attendance. Deceased is survived by 1 daughter and 4 sons, 1 brother, Mr. James Baxley, and 2 sisters, Mesdames Tom Maudlin and Dock Prevatt, of the community.
