John Emery Kills, Wife, Himself, Wounds Eva Harrell, March 1, 1921

Norfolk, Va.--Miss Eva Harrell was brought to Norfolk from Elizabeth City, N.c., and take to a local hospital. She is a precarious condition from four bullet wounds but has a fighting chance for recovery, physicians state. Miss Harrell was wounded at a hotel in Elizabeth City, last Saturday night when John E. Emery of Norfolk broke into the room where his wife and Miss Harrell were staying and killed Mrs. Emery and himself, Miss Harrell being wounded during the shooting.
