Mr. M.L. Heiner will return from Washington Friday, where he has been attending The Shriners Convention. While there Mr. Heiner will visit the Northern markets.

Miss Katherine Cardwell of Glovonia St. will leave Monday for Greensboro, where she will attend the summer school.

Mr. Harry Goldstein is in Danville attending to some business.

Mr. J.P. Wade went to Stoneville today on a business trip.

Mrs. S.P. Martin returned Wednesday from Sandy Ridge, where she had been visiting her daughter, Miss Sallie Dobson.

Little George Krantz, so of J.W. Krantz, was carried to the hospital in Danville Wednesday where he will undergo a minor operation. His friends hope he shall have a speedy recovery and that he shall soon be home with his friends.

Mr. O.L. Robertson, one of the Boulevard’s most progressive merchants, is having erected a very substantial business building and when completed will add greatly to the business section.

Mr. S.P. Test of Mayodan is making his plans to open a dry goods store in one of Mr. Robertson’s store buildings July 1st. Mr. Robertson is a great believer in the future prosperity of the Boulevard.

Mr. C.P. Robertson is having erected two store buildings which will be completed in the near future. Judging by the erection of buildings on the Boulevard, the citizens’ slogan must be “Watch Our Business Grow.”

Mr. and Mrs. Dan Taylor left yesterday for Laurinburg to spend several days.

Mr. D.L. Smith is very much indisposed the past few days and not able to be at the store.

Mrs. W.D. Millner and three daughters of Strasburg, Va., are guests of Mr. and Mrs. T.L. Milner on Monroe Street.
