Needham Crow, 75, Buried at Old Home Place, Jan. 4, 1924

Mr. Needham Crow, Wayne County Farmer, Dies of Heart Trouble. . . Well-Known and Highly Respected Farmer Succumbs to Heart Failure Late Yesterday Afternoon. Funeral Services Will be Held Today

Mr. Needham Crow, a well-known and highly respected farmer of Grantham township died suddenly at 4:30 o’clock yesterday afternoon. His death was due to heart failure.

Mr. Crow only lived about 30 minutes after being stricken with the malady.

He was 75 years age, was born in this county, and has been one of the most respected citizens all his life. He was married in early life to Miss Amy Oom. From this union there were five children. Twenty-six years ago, he buried his wife. Three years later he married Miss Maggie McCleany. Five children were born to this union.

Mr. Crow was a member of the Friends church which was located near his home, and was very active in church work until late years when he became too feeble to attend.

He is survived by his wife and 10 children: Mrs. Daisy Warren of (two lines obscured), E.C. Crow, Robt. O. Crow of Goldsboro, and S.H. Crow of Baltimore, Ramond Crow of Mt. Olive, and Needham Crow who still lives at home.

The funeral services will be conducted from the home at 4 o’clock this afternoon by Rev. John S. Moore from the Friends church of which Mr. Crow was a member, assisted by Rev. I.L. Jones of this city. Interment will be at the old home place.
