Tarboro Doctor Is Using an Airplane

Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 12—Dr. Julian Baker of Tarboro, N.C., chose the air route this afternoon when he wished to come to Raleigh to administer radium treatment to a patient in a critical condition in a local hospital.

Getting in an airplane at Tarboro at 2 o’clock, the physician was brought to Raleigh by a commercial flier in one hour and one minute. Fifteen minutes after landing he was administering treatment to his patient with a particle of radium valued at $125,000, which he brought with him on his trip through the air.
