Jury Is Summoned for Cooper Trial

Wilmington, N.C., Jan. 12—Sixty special jurymen have been summoned for the special term of the United States district court, which will convene here January 28 for the trial of Lieutenant Governor W.B. Cooper, his brother, Thomas E. Cooper, son, Horace Cooper, and Clyde W. Lassiter, charged with violations of the national banking laws in connection with he failure of the Commercial National bank here on December, 31, 1922.

It is expected that the actual trial of the lieutenant governor and his associates will begin on January 30, two days being consumed in the examination of witnesses by the grand jury.
