Mr. Hector Mason entertained a large number of his friends Saturday night being his 20th birthday. Guests arrived at 7:30 o’clock and were entertained by playing games until 10 o’clock when they were invited to the dining room by his sister, Miss Pearl Mason, where delightful cream and cake were served.
Those present were Misses Myrtle and Alberta Holder, Carrie Butler, Thelma and Gladys Porter, Alma and Bertha Bullard, Pearl Mason, Mayme Holder of Cunnock and Flora Wood; Messrs. James and Thomas Cameron of Sanford, Herman Lee Jones of Fayetteville, Lacy Holder of Sanford, Neill, Archie and Duncan Cameron, Lonnie Patterson, Alex McPhail, Dougald and Gordon Holder, Henry, John and James Bullard, Walter and William Mason, William and Joe O’Quinn, Daniel Cummings and French Holder. Guests departed at 11 o’clock wishing Mr. Mason many more happy birthdays.
