James and Reid Fulk, Sanders Smith Win at Fiddlers' Convention, April 16, 1924

The fiddlers’ convention held in the court house here Saturday night was attended by probably 300 citizens, and a large number of fiddlers contested for the prizes offered.

James Fulk was awarded first prize as the best fiddler. Reid Fulk was winner of the prize for the best banjoist, while Sanders Smith got the prize as the best guitarist.

Messrs. J.S. Taylor, McKinley Nelson and Miss Pattie Hill acted as judges.
