Salaries of State Dept. of Agriculture and N.C. State University Employees, April 4, 1924

Here’s Where Lots of Tax Monies Go. . . List of Officers, Employees and Salaries in the N.C. Dept. of Agriculture

By Dr. H.Q. Alexander

Below is published a list of officers and employees of the North Carolina Department of Agriculture. While we are all thinking and talking about taxation, wouldn’t it be well for us to study this list, and lists of all other state departments, and ascertain if the state is paying out too much tax money for folks in these jobs? In other words, is the state of North Carolina receiving good returns on the investment of the following amount of money in the Department of Agriculture?

Read it, study it, and express your opinion on it.
