Clinton Building and Loan Association to Meet May 1, 1924

Will Reorganize Building Body. . . Meeting of Stockholders of Building and Loan Association Is Announced

A meeting of the stockholders of Clinton Building and Loan Association, for the purpose of reorganizing that body and starting a series of memberships, has been called for Thursday night, May 1.

The meeting will be held at the Chamber of Commerce rooms in the Butler building, and the public is invited to attend. It is hoped to get the loan organization more actively interested in Clinton’s betterment, and to make it an integral part of the community and its advancement.

The officers of the association ask that every stockholder be present, as matters of importance to all will be disposed of. The officers of the association are T.B. Smith, president; W.F Peterson, vice-president; and W.E. Matthews, secretary-treasurer; the directors are R.E. Herring, Howard McKinnon, James H. Packer, Henry A. Grady, W.F. Peterson, D.L. Boney, R.L. Herring, Seddon Goode, and T.B. Smith.
