Six Appointments to Greensboro College Faculty, May 24, 1924

Addition to Faculty of Greensboro College

Greensboro, N.C., May 24—Six new appointments to the faculty of Greensboro College have been announced by the President, S.B. Turrentine. They will fill places in the departments of political economy and history; chemistry and physics; English, library, physical education and expression.

Elliott O. Watson of Vanderbilt University faculty and a graduate of Wofford College, will be on the faculty of the political economy and history department.

Dr. Paul M. Ginnings of Centenary College, Louisiana, and a graduate of the University of Illinois, will come to the chemistry department.

Miss Edna Earl Shelton of Queen’s College, Charlotte, and a graduate of the University of South Carolina, will be connected with the English department.

Miss Margaret Tuthill, a graduate of Greensboro College, will be assistant librarian.

Miss Geraldine Smith, a graduate of Greensboro College, and during the past year assistant librarian and coach in athletics, will be associated professor of physical education.

Miss Elba Denninger, professor of expression and physical education, will devote more time to the department of oral English and expression, and to the professional school of physical education.
