The Statesville Landmark, 15th: The annual Farmers' Picnic at the State Farm will be held July 10 according to announcement by County Agent R.W. Graeber. The picnic is usually held the last Thursday in July, but the date was advanced this year in order not to conflict with the State Farmers’ Convention at State College July 23, 24 and 25.
