John Grier Parks Jr. is visiting Erskin Parks in Albemarle for several days.
Miss Annie Strider, teacher in the Concord public schools, left Friday for Gold Hill, where she will visit relatives before returning to her home at Elmwood.

Miss Rosa Caldwell left last Friday for the Students’ Conference at Blue Ridge. She goes as a representative of the Salem College annual, “Sights and Insights,” of which she is editor-in-chief.
Miss Douglas Archibald is spending the week end with Miss Orchard Lafferty at the summer home of the latter’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. P.M. Lafferty in No. 10 township.

Cook, left Saturday for Atlanta, Ga., where they will visit relatives before returning to their home in Kentucky. Mr. and Mrs. J.F. Cannon and children, Annie, Mary and Joseph, are spending several weeks at Tate Springs.

D.H. Hathcox entered the Charlotte Sanatorium Friday night to undergo treatment. Miss Louise Medlin is confined to her home on East Corbin street by illness. Mrs. John McElwin of Fort Wayne, Ind., and her two children, left Friday night for Williamsport, Pa., after spending several weeks at the home of her sister, Mrs. W.H Wadsworth on Church Street.
Miss Nellie Dry, teacher in Greensboro schools, returned Saturday to Concord, where she will make her home during the summer with her mother, Mrs. C.A. Dry, at her residence on South Union Street.

Mr. and Mrs. M.F. Hullender have returned to their home in Winston after spending several days in the home of Mrs. Hullender’s father, J.F. Harris on Spring Street. They were accompanied home by Mack Harris and Sarah Elizabeth Harris. Mrs. Hullender, before marriage, was Miss Elvira Harris.
Clarene Ridenhour left today for State College where he has returned to attend the final dances given in that institution.
Ed Walker of Lincolnton was a visitor in the city Sunday afternoon.
