Wade Ivey Dies of Illness Begun in Great War, June 7, 1925

Funeral Services for Wade Ivey Held Today. . . Died Sunday after an Illness Which Began While Overseas in Service

Funeral services for Wade Ivey, who died Sunday morning at 11 o’clock at his home in New London, were held this afternoon at 3 o’clock. Burial was made in New London.

Mr. Ivey had been ill for a number of years, illness resulting rom overseas service during the war. He enlisted in the service with the Mooresville battery and went abroad with that company.

Among those attending funeral were his brother, C.M. Ivey, Mrs. C.M. Ivey, Mrs. J.F. Dayvault, Mrs. L. Lee Crowell, Mrs. John K. Patterson, Rev. and Mrs. W.A. Jenkins, Lee Ivey and W.J. Montgomery.
