Chapel Hill, June 13—Two hundred and ten North Carolina physicians have enrolled for postgraduate medical courses to be offered throughout the State next week under the auspices of the Extension Division of the University of North Carolina. Classes begin tomorrow and continue through Saturday.
The State is to be divided into two circuits, east and west, and classes will be held in six centers on each circuit. The eastern circuit will be conducted by Dr. Wayne A. Rupe and the western circuit by Dr. Jean V. Cooke, both of the Washington University Medical school, and the physicians of national reputation. The courses will be in pediatrics.
Centers in the eastern circuit are Goldsboro, Rocky Mount, Tarboro, Greenville, Kinston and Selma. The western circuit comprises Winston-Salem, Mount Airy, Greensboro, High Point, Reidsville and Burlington.
The first meeting in Goldsboro will be held Friday at 11:30 a.m. in the Wayne County Board of Health office. the physicians enrolled for attendance are Drs. W.H. Smith, W.H. House, T.L. Ginn, C.F. Stro????, G. Woodard, M.E. Bissell, W. H. Cobb, all of Goldsboro; J.W. Wilkins, C.C. Henderson, W.C. Steele, all of Mt. Olive; J.W. Carroll, R.C. Williams of Wallace; G.R. Benton and C.L. Lassiter of Fremont; J.M. Williams of Warsaw, H.C. Wyson of Keer; V. Leggett of Hobgood; M.L. Carr of LaGrange; A. Jones Smith of Black Creek; D.H. Reed of Kenansville and R.C. Person of Pikeville.
