Thieves early yesterday morning entered the store of E.M. Moore, corner of Holly and Williams streets, stealing six hams, a quantity of starch and canned goods, and the store’s entire stock of tobacco and snuff. The robbery was not discovered until Mr. Moore opened his store Saturday morning.
Entrance to the building was made by removing several boards placed over a broken panel in the door. Police are working on several clues, and hope to soon place the offenders in custody.
