Hickory Delegates to Annual Convention of Legionnaires, Sept. 7, 1925

Legion Men Gather for Annual Meeting. . . Several Hundred Expected at Fayetteville for Convention—Many Delegates Have Arrived

Fayetteville, N.C., Sept. 7 (AP)—More than 350 Legionnaires are expected to arrive here today for the opening of the annual convention of the N.C. Department of the American Legion tonight. Practically every city in the state has delegates attending.

A large body of Hickory Legionnaires was already in the city and on the streets early today, while others were arriving from Raleigh, Salisbury, Greensboro, Concord, Charlotte, Washington and surrounding town.
