The Societas Scientiarum Salemensis was organized in the fall of 1924 for the general purpose of furthering scientific knowledge and interest among students.
The active membership is limited to 24 members. Before a student can become a member, she must have passed two courses in science and must pursue a scientific subject throughout her college course. Application blanks with references must be filled out and submitted to the vote of the society before a person can become a member. To retain membership a student must pass all academic requirements.
The following officers have been elected for the year 1925-1925: President, Alpha Shaner; Secretary-Treasurer, Laura Thomas; Executive Committee, Kathryn Emmart, Ruth Efird, Ruth Perkins.
