Charlotte, Oct. 2—Kenneth J. Kindley of Charlotte has been named Third Assistant U.S. District Attorney for the Western District of North Carolina, succeeding Frank C. Patton, promoted to Second Assistant District Attorney, succeeding C.A. Jonas of Lincolnton, resigned, it was announced here Thursday. The change became effective October 1st.
