High Point, Oct. 10 (AP)—A more stringent Sunday closing law was advocated here recently by Rev. Charles K. Coble, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, who spoke before the city council, especially urging an ordinance prohibiting the sale of ice on Sunday.
It was pointed out that it would be unfair to pass such an ordinance in the absence of Councilman Rodney Snow, who is in the ice business, and no action was taken at the time.
