We have had another hard rain Sunday night. The ground is so wet farmers have had to stop the plows again.

Messrs. G.M. Sabiston and A.N. Fodrie made a flying trip to Morehead City Friday.

Mrs. B.B. Small is quite sick—has a deep cold and fever.

The “Happy Unkirs,” a society of the young folks of our neighborhood, will have a basket party Friday night, February 19, 1926. Everybody is cordially invited to attend and bring a full pocket book.

Misses Minnie Sabiston and Lossie Hardesty and Messrs. Wilbur and North Sabiston were the guests of Miss Marie Dickinson Sunday night.

Mr. D.W. Sabiston went to Oyster Creek and Harlowe Monday trying to collect taxes and sell Diamond Gas Stoves. He is agent for the iron lamps and lanterns.

Mr. M.C. Dickinson was a business visitor to Beaufort Saturday.

The usual crowd of young folks from here were in Beaufort Saturday night.

Mr. and Mrs. Alex Foreman and Mrs. James H. Dickinson spent Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Grif Dudley of Wire Grass.
