Barnesville, April 21—Barnesville school commencement will begin Friday evening, April 23rd, at 8 o’clock, with an operetta and play. Other features of the finals will be:
Commencement sermon Sunday, April 25, at 3 p.m. by Dr. C.H. Durham pastor of the First Baptist church of Lumberton.
Monday, April 26, 8 p.m., operetta and play by elementary department.
Tuesday, April 27:
11 a.m. Graduating exercises; address by Dr. A.C. Reid of Wake Forest College.
12 noon. Dinner for everybody.
3 p.m. Music recital and declamation contest; baseball.
8 p.m. High school play, “Always in Trouble.”
The public is cordially invited to attend. We are very fortunate in securing Dr. Reid of the psychology department of Wake Forest College to deliver the address. We feel sure he has a message for all.
Mr. N.C. Barefoot is principal of the school.
