Gastonia, N.C., May 21—Charles Hoover, 45, well known farmer of the Mount Holly section, was instantly killed at 11 o’clock this morning when a tractor turned over on him while he was at work in the field. The machine, it was stated, was crossing a ditch and had started up an embankment when it turned over.
