Mrs. Minnie Poplin, wife of Lee Poplin, died last night at 6 o’clock at her home in No. 3 township, death being caused by fever with which she had been ill for three weeks.
Funeral services were held this afternoon at 1 o’clock at the home and interment made in Union cemetery. The services were conducted by Rev. Mr. Barnes.
Mrs. Poplin was born in Cabarrus County on November 12, 1889, a daughter of W.T Smith. She had been married a number of years.
Surviving are her father, husband, six children and two brothers and four sisters.
