Lexington, July 2—Robert Smith, aged 27, of Honea Path, S.C., died in a local hospital without regaining consciousness nearly three days after he was struck on the back of the head by a passenger train, while sitting near the northbound rack of the Southern hear here. His body was shipped to Honea Path for burial by relatives who came here after he was injured.
