Tryon, July 13—Q.C. Sonner Jr., seriously wounded last Wednesday night when Miss Jean Braswell was fatally shot, virtually is out of danger, Tryon Hospital officials said today.
Meanwhile, Polk County authorities continue to investigate the shooting. . . .
Neither Sheriff McFarland nor J. Will Pless Jr., prosecuting attorney, would make any announcement of their plans following a conference yesterday.
