The Friday Afternoon Book Club was entertained by Mrs. W. M. Linker at her home on White Street Friday afternoon.
After the business meeting and the roll-call, which was answered by current events, the meeting was turned over to Mrs. J. F. Dayvault, program hostess for the afternoon. Mrs. Dayvault entertained the club in her usual happy manner. Mrs. H. S. Williams gave a delightful reading. Mrs. Linker served a salad course with sandwiches.
Guests of the club were Mesdames J. A. Kennett, H. W. Calloway, M. M. Linker, D. J. Miller of Lake City, Florida, and Miss Ida May King.
