Mrs. Mary Settle Sharp, Republican candidate for state superintendent of public instruction, will speak at the Hub theatre in Hickory Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 and at Newton Wednesday evening at 7:30. An invitation is extended to the public to hear Mrs. Sharp, who not only is a member of a family noted for brillianvce, but is a woman of fine intelligence and an able speaker.
