J.L. Rhodes Weds Miss Stella McQueen Streadwick, May 4, 1922

On Sunday last Mr. Jesse Lorenzo Rhodes and Miss Stella McQueen Streadwick were quietly married at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Streadwick, Rev. W.A. Black performing the ceremony. Immediately after the ceremony the young couple left for Wilmington, N.C., where they will make their home. They were accompanied as far as Spartanburg by Miss Sallie Streadwick and Roy Gaines.

The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Rhodes of Lynn and well known to all our people, while his bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Streadwick and is loved by all her friends for her kind disposition and friendliness.

The News joins their friends in wishing them a long and prosperous life.
