A hydrophobiaed dog ran amuck in this section Saturday and caused considerable fear and excitement. Report is that the dog bit two children of near Maiden and that the dog also attacked a cow and dogs before he was killed.
A report reached Lincolnton that two or three negroes were bitten by this dog, but inquiry revealed that the mad dog passed by some negroes and badly frightened them.
