The Hendersonville Laundry, Ice & Fuel Company, an insolvent firm, was auctioned off Saturday at noon to Archie Brown and Norman W. Miller. The bid offered was $21,600. E.W. Ewbank was auctioneer.
This firm was under the management of E.C. Latham, who recently went to Chicago to accept work with a laundry. Clarence Latham was president of the firm. Since it became insolvent John Ewbank has been active manager.
After the regular 10-day limit following the sale, the buyers plan to take possession and jointly manage the business. Mr. Miller is having his laundry equipment moved from Mooresville where he has been in the business for some time.
