Graduating exercises of the Mercy Hospital Training school for nurses will be held Friday night at 8 o’clock in O’Donohue hall on South Tryon street.
The Right Reverend Bishop Leo Haid of Belmont Abbey will conver the diplomas and Dr. Myers Hunter, president of the hospital staff will make the introductory remarks and present the class pins.
C.H. Gover will deliver the principal address of the evening, after which a reception will be held in O’Donohue hall.
The following young ladies will receive their diplomas: Misses Sadie McDonald, Margaret Washam, Ethel Chrisenberry, all of Charlotte, and Miss Lillie Henshaw of Worthville, N.C.
The music for the evening will be furnished by the Piedmont orchestra.
