Electrician Kidnapped; Governor Sends Troops to Aberdeen, July 20, 1922

Troops Ordered to Aberdeen

Aberdeen, N.C., July 20—At the request of Mayor Henry Page, following the kidnapping here of an electrician of the Norfolk Southern railway, Gov. Morrison today, through Adjutant General Metts ordered a contingent of troops to that place for service in emergency.
