Mrs. Hayes Died Friday Morning

Mrs. Cordelia Hayes, aged 39, died at her home in West Durham Friday morning at 2:40 o’clock. Death was caused by a complication of diseases.

Mrs. Hayes is survived by a husband, D.F. Hayes, and five children, as follows: Lantie, Marion, Mary, Clyde and Erwin. Two sisters, Mrs. J.H. Scott of Greensboro and Mrs. E.G. Cheek, also survive as does one brother, S.A. Rigsbee of Durham.

Funeral services will be conducted from the home on Anderson street Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock with Rev. T.M. Green, pastor of the West Durham Baptist church, in charge. Burial will be in the Sparrow burying grounds near Chapel Hill.
