Willie Brantley is not guilty of rape and assault on a female a jury in Cabarrus Superior court decided this afternoon after an hour’s deliberation. The jury received in the case shortly at 2 o’clock and they returned their verdict at 3 o’clock. Brantly was freed immediately after the verdict was announced.
