Dr. R.S. Turlington received a message yesterday afternoon to the effect that his father had been killed in an accident near Clinton, N.C. The accident happened when Mr. Turlington was thrown from a wagon during a run-away.
Mr. Turlington and Mrs. D.W. Cobb, brother-in-law of the dead man, left immediately for the home of the deceased.
Funeral arrangements could not be learned at a late hour last night.
