The subject of Banner Rooms still engages our attention. Cleanliness and attractiveness in rooms should be found without any reward, but since noteworthy mention is to be made of rooms in which such conditions above, it seems that as a mere matter of self-respect, each room should approximate the standard set for such honorable mention. Ingenious and subtle, sometimes, may be the means to such a reward. For example, one particular room in school lives in satisfactory peace and harmony because one of its occupants is happy only when she is putting the room in order, for which she, alone and disputed, is allowed to “Carry the Banner.” You might try the above method on our roommate should the Banner Mention persist in passing you by each month. Satisfaction is guaranteed if the right approaches are made.
