A Star car, driven by M.C. Hoover, crashed through the abutment of the bridge at Caroleen Sunday morning injuring several, Miss Kattie Smith the most severely injured, now being in the Rutherford Hospital.
The car was occupied by M.C. Hoover, Jeff Hill, Miss Katie Smith and Miss Hattie Wood, all of Lincolnton.
