According to a report reaching this city from Duck, Dare County, W.E. Rogers, a fisherman of that place, on Monday of this week landed 5,311 pounds of perch and other fish with a haul seine. And he would have gotten more, but the net burst and part of the fish got away. This is said to be one of the biggest catches in many years, the fish saved being valued at $1,240.
