Gastonia, April 3—Fred R. Patterson, alias David Gedney, said to be of Gaston County, was arrested here this morning on a warrant from Miami, Fla., charging him with forgery of a $2,000 check which he cashed in that city. Miami officials are here to escort the defendant back to Florida, it was stated.
