Wanted for Larceny, Are Arrested, But Escape

Salisbury, April 4—Fred Presnell and Ollie Atkins, white men wanted at Tarboro on a charge of larceny, were arrested by Salisbury officers Saturday and locked in the city hall cells. Soon after that they made their escape by prying off the lock to their cell while an officer from Tarboro was on his way to Salisbury for them.
