Charlotte Banker Dies at His Home

Charlotte, May 4—Baxter Ross, aged 60, for 35 years an official of the First National Bank died Tuesday at his residence here.

Mr. Ross was born October 10, 1866, the son of John P. and Sarah Oliver Ross. Thirtyi-five years ago he became associated with the First National Bank, one of the oldest financial institutions in the South. For years he was a teller, but three years ago he was made assistant cashier.

Mr. Ross married Miss Hattie Elliott of Charlotte, who survives. He was a brother of Mrs. Robert M. Miller of Charlotte. Interment will take place Wednesday.
