Body to be Placed Beside Wife's, May 14, 1926

Regularly Viewed Corpse of His Wife. . . Now F.M. Tucker Is Dead and Body Will be Placed Beside Companion

Warren Plains, May 13—Frank Malone Tucker died at his home near here Wednesday morning. He was born July 28, 1952. On August 20, 1879, he married Mary Jane King, who died March 10, 1924. About 30 days after her body had been interred, the husband had it taken up, re-embalmed and placed in an expensive mausoleum. As long as he was able, he visited the vault regularly and looked at his dead wife. Other members of the family say that two weeks ago the casket was opened and the body was found to be in a fine state of preservation.

Mr. Tucker’s body was taken to Henderson to be embalmed to the best of the embalmers’ skill. The vault will be made five inches larger and then the body of the husband placed beside the wife.
