Currituck, N.C., May 4 (AP)—A girls’ home demonstration club has been organized on Knott’s Island in Currituck county, and one will be organized for adults later, so that instruction may be given in both junior and adult work. This is the first club ever organized on the island, according to Miss Rachel Everett, the home agent.
Meetings are being held each week that the girls may receive intensive training, says the home agent. The school authorities in the county will furnish a launch so that weekly trips may be made to and from the island by the agent.
