Leaving for South
America
Since about May 1, 1916, Mr. L.S. Grandy has been a member
of our community, and a leader in the Construction Department, and for the past
14 months has been superintendent of construction. His qualities need no
enumeration to his friends in Badin, for he was known and liked by everyone.
The Company, having found need for his services elsewhere,
Mr. Grandy and his inseparable companions—that smile and that little old
pipe—will leave in June for South America. The best wishes of his friends go
with him.
Mr. Grandy’s family will continue to reside in Badin for the
present.
