Luke Little, Brakeman, Killed in Switching Operations at Erlanger, Jan. 22, 1920

Luke Little, 35 years of age, a negro brakeman on the Southbound railroad, met a tragic death yesterday afternoon about 3 o’clock while performing his duties in switching operations at Erlanger. Two cars passed over the man’s body just above the hips, causing death instantly.
