Greensboro Is Named for Bankhead Meeting
Hot Springs, April 17—Beneham Cameron of Stagville, N.C.,
last night was elected president and Greensboro, N.C., was selected as the 1921
meeting place of the Bankhead National Highway Association, which is holding
its annual convention.
Other officers elected are Charles E. McPherrin, Durant,
Okla., and George R. Belding, Hot Springs, vice-presidents; J.A. Rountree,
Birmingtham, Ala., secretary, and Leon G. Jones, Talledega, Ala., treasurer.
Greensboro was also selected as the 1921 convention city of
the United States Good Roads Associaton and the two organizations will meet
there at the same time.
